I sold Isagenix for a while and had tons of people under me selling it. I was about to receive my first commision check for a huge amount of sales, and I was fired from Isagenix. I had sold one Cleanse kit on eBay, and was told after the fact, that it was not allowed. It had never been stated that ebay was frowned upon. I think the product is not harmful to use, but I also believe that it doesn’t do any good either. Out of the hundreds of sales I had, not a single person ever told me they felt healthier. I actually feel guilty now for selling it to people I cared about.
I still DISLIKE the fact that Isagenix is a MLM Co & do feel the products could be sold for less if the commissions weren’t being paid but it is what it is & if I want to feel this good, then I’ll continue to use them. My grocery bill has drastically dropped as I was told it would but how can I put a price tag on good health. I listen to my body & my body tells me this is a good thing. I won’t argue w/ the above posts b/c I know little about nutrition but again, I listen to what my body tells me.
There is a difference between soy lecithin and soybean. I’d suggest you research, and not all soy is bad for you some of the time. I disagree with your fructose assumption, as you give no better alternative especially since the only alternatives on the market are much worse for you. I think you should do further checking beyond reading a label. The company holds regular universities in which you can personally meet the scientists and physicians leading the way in bringing better healthy choices to our world. Reading a website really only gives you a glimpse. There is much, much more. That’s why you need a coach, or someone who has taken time to further their understanding. The very things you mention, are exactly what Isagenix is not. It is too bad that you are keeping other people from experiencing something that could change their lifestyle from bad to good.
A cleanse is different than a fast. And the body knows the difference. During a fast the body slows the system and its workload/efforts to compensate for a perceived lack of nutrients. To this end, if your cleanse doesn't supply sufficient nutrients (the range of nutrients -- carb, pro, healthy fats) it's likely that the body may alter its metabolic functions in a way that prevents sustainable results and may compromise short term energy and immune function.
The Isagenix diet will not deprive your body of any nutrients. Hence, you can follow your regular exercise routine or start working out whenever you get time. Warm-ups, walking, running, jogging, cycling, yoga, dancing, playing a sport, etc. will help secrete the good hormones. These, in turn, trigger metabolism and help you lose weight. You will look and feel good after a good workout of at least about 30 minutes.
Some of the comments were upset about you saying that there is gluten, soy and rancid oils in the products. How can they argue with company ingredient labeling? Gluten sensitivity is a huge concern for many people. One of my problems with the product is the whey content. For people with nonceliac gluten sensitivity any dairy derived product can be a major issue due to cross reactivity. Don’t believe me? Investigate Cyrex labs and their test array panels for cross reactive foods to gluten. New Zealand raised cows are not really any healthier than US raised cows for a variety of reasons. That is a myth perpetuated by companies using NZ raised cows.
Many people feel the effects of these various toxins and do not realize what is the actual cause. As I always say, one must discover the root source of the problem, and once this is understood, a person can work to effectively remove many of these toxins from the body with a cellular detox. However, I do not suggest attempting detox on your own, especially if you’re struggling with a health condition that is affecting the quality of your life. To safely and effectively go through the detox process you need a trained practitioner trained who can coach you each step of the way. Many hire coaches to improve their golf or dating game, why not a coach to take your health to the next level? Good health is truly a precious gift, I know all too well.
3. And for the love of veggies, don’t go on a starvation diet! Diets that are 1,000 calories (and less) simply backfire. They are not sustainable, don’t provide enough nutrients or protein to keep your lean muscle tissue and they are so restrictive that it’s impossible to keep them up for long. When you return to normal eating, you’ve lost muscle—and lowered your metabolism—and weight gain is inevitable! Ahh!
The comment on ‘natural flavors’ is misleading as, to start, there is no MSG in the shakes even though you say technically it can be classed as a natural flavour. Actually it can’t as USDA will not allow MSG on the ‘natural flavors’ list. It does, on the other hand, allow glutamic acid. Glutamic acid is an amino acid that occurs naturally in our bodies. Aside from this, you do not actually know which ‘natural flavors’ are in the product. Before making suggestions of what they might be and misleading people, actual research could involve you asking company, if you were genuinely doing an ‘unbiased’ review on the internet for literally everyone to read.
The “heart healthy” diet is ridiculous – it consists of grains, low-fat foods, minimal meat, and processed food byproducts. It’s the opposite of what people should eat for heart health. Like I said in my other comment, when you’re testing against horrible diets in the first place, it’s not surprising that the outcome is positive. But it doesn’t mean that the products are ideal.
Please don’t assume to know how I earn a living. I’m not compensated for these reviews. I write them for people who are sucked into spending their hard earned money on a subpar product. To be included in the ingredient list under the term natural flavors, the flavoring compound must not only give the item its specific taste and be found in nature, but its main purpose should be to give a food flavor rather than to contribute to the food’s nutritional value. Because sweeteners are considered primarily nutritional, they must be disclosed in the ingredient list and cannot be listed as natural flavors. In addition, colors and chemical preservatives (used to enhance the appearance of food and keep it from spoiling) cannot be listed as natural flavors.

I’m not sure if your brain isn’t properly functioning due to taking Isagenix for almost five years, but the ingredient lists were pulled directly from the Isagenix website and I really don’t appreciate being called a liar. Anyone who has the basic ability to read can see the list of sources I used to provide the ingredient lists. So to say that the ingredient lists are fake (when I clearly provided links for them that go to the Isagenix website) is basically an admission that you know the ingredients are garbage.
